      General Questions

      What is your refund policy?

      Returns

      Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

      To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

      To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

      Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

      Refunds (if applicable)

      Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

      Shipping

      You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

      Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

      What should I do if something breaks?

      For robotics kits, you can contact us and tell us about the state of your broken item. We will evaluate if we are able to replace it for you or if you are eligible for a refund.

      For virtual classes, please contact us via e-mail (info@robolink.com) or by phone (+1 (858) 876-5123) to handle refunds, rescheduling, and cancellations.

      Virtual Learning

      How does sign-up work?

      All of our sign ups are done through our website. To sign up for regular classes visit our sign-up page and fill out the form. We will collect paperwork digitally, and a payment method. Once we have received your registration and contacted you to schedule your student, we will send you a confirmation e-mail. It typically takes 2-3 business days to process your registration.

      How old should my child be to attend classes?

      We offer classes from 1st-12th graders. We will place your student in the appropriate class through careful consideration of their age and experience level. Typically, students with no experience will start off in our Robotics Fundamentals class. Students grade 1-3 will use our CubeWorks kit and student grade 4 and up will use our Rokit Smart kit to build robots in this class. Students who are more advanced will be placed in our Advanced Drone Coding class. For this class, students are typically grade 7 and up.

      How do I pay for classes?

      We collect payment the first week of every month in person. You can come in and pay, or if you prefer, you can pay online at our shop.

      2. At the top, go to “Shop”
      3. On the left hand side click “Classes”
      4. Choose “Learning Center Course” and add to cart
      5. Checkout

      This payment is good for 4 class sessions. Be sure to indicate your student’s name as well as the month you are paying for.

      Am I able to get a refund on a class if my student misses it?

      Unfortunately we do not allow refunds for missed classes, we do however offer make up sessions for classes that are missed.

      What happens if my child misses a class?

      We ask you let us know 24hrs in advance of the class start time, but we know life happens and would be happy to reschedule for a later date and time. Just email us at info@robolink.com or call 858-876-5123 to begin rescheduling.
       

      I am a Qualcomm/UC San Diego employee. How do I receive the 10% discount?

      In order to verify employment, we ask if you could present us with your Qualcomm badge (emailing a picture is fine) or sending us an email via your Qualcomm or UCSD email. We will send you a discount code.

      Does the discount apply to purchasing products?

      Unfortunately, the Qualcomm and UC San Diego discounts only apply to our classes.

      What type of programming do you teach?

      We teach block coding, using Blockly, for the younger students. For students ready for text-based coding, we teach Python and Arduino. We also teach VEX IQ, which is a very popular robotics platform used in many schools. Lastly, we teach hardware and engineering skills. Check out all of our offerings here.

      Do I need to purchase a kit for classes?

      Yes, if you're signing up for a class that involves one of our robots, it will be required for the class. We offer discounts for purchasing a kit with our classes, and you can check those out here.
